Halifax Community Health System (HCHS) has formalized an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) with standardized templates, policies and procedures based on the PMI® methodology. In a one hour audio seminar hosted by the PMI® Healthcare SIG, HCHS will share the issues faced, the
rationale for adopting
PMI® methodology, and the strategy used to develop a EPMO.

About the Presenters

Nani Sadowski, PMP, has been a Project Manager for 9 years in a variety of industries. She is currently the Manager of the Enterprise Project Management Office(EPMO) for Halifax Community Healthcare System consisting of 1 Program Manager and 5 Project Managers. She facilitates and manages the Project Portfolio for the organization, Manages large scale multi-million dollar Projects, and distributes metrics reports detailing statistical measures within the EPMO. She is certified as a Green Belt in Six Sigma and received her PMP certification in January of this year.



Nancy Jeffreys, PMP, has been a Project Manager for over 20 years in healthcare. She currently is a Program Manager for Halifax Community Healthcare System working on a $30M program to open an 80 bed community hospital in November 2006. She is initiating another $200M program to build a 204 bed acute care hospital with an additional 110 bed Emergency Department to open in 2009. She received her PMP certification in 2001.

Nani and Nancy worked together to successfully build the Enterprise Project Management Office methodology as well as to implement the strategy for the EPMO at HCHS.
