Bay Area Healthcare Symposium Receives Rave Reviews

The Healthcare SIG's San Francisco Bay Area Symposium on March 31, 2006 exceeded expectations both by attracting a capacity audience and by drawing rave reviews from the participants. One hundred healthcare professionals attended the half-day event, which focused on healthcare-specific project management training and included such subjects as Project Management Healthcare Professionals, Stakeholder Management in a Healthcare Setting, and People Skills.

The San Francisco Bay Area Symposium was the first of a series of educational events to be offered by the Healthcare SIG. The SIG will be offering a two-day education track in healthcare project management during the PMI Nashville Chapter's annual symposium in April and a half-day education track in Washington DC during National Health IT Week in June.
