Your
Feedback Makes
a Difference
Adam
Birnbaum, President
In
the last issue of HealthcareSpeaks, I requested feedback
to bring to the board retreat. We received a lot of great feedback, all
centered around a common theme -- education. I was delighted to receive
your thoughts because it matched what the board was already thinking...that
members need to receive free education. So, that's what you are going
to get! All
education recordings already online have been modified to become free
for members. I
will also work with our web administrator to remove the payment requirements
from the education recordings we have online. There will still be a price
for non-members. However, the board has agreed to re-align its budget
for the balance of this year, and future years, to ensure that the SIG
can afford free education offerings as an added-value of membership.
In addition, thank you for your thoughts. Please keep the feedback coming
because it makes a difference. If you are willing to lead an education
program please contact
us.

"Lessons
Learned for Healthcare Project Managers"
A project's "lessons learned" is oftentimes lost
when a project team is reassigned. It is the project manager's responsibility
to collect this valuable information and archive it for similar projects
in the future. The Healthcare SIG is pleased to announce a one hour, on-demand
audio seminar designed for anyone interested in improving the value of
lessons learned in a healthcare environment.
