A monthly publication of the PMI® Healthcare SIG ........................................ January 2006
President's Message

by Adam Birnbaum

Happy New Year. I hope that you found the holiday season a time filled with warmth, happiness and health. My best wishes to you for an enriching 2006! We definitely hope to play a role in that enrichment. As promised several months ago, we intend to offer an array of face-to-face and online educational and networking activities that will assist with your personal and professional growth. We already have six regional events planned and are currently securing speakers to provide several live webinars and ondemand education offerings. In addition to education, we're implementing strategies around global outreach -- connecting with the members in our 33 countries to meet their needs -- as well as planning a member/project awards program and helping several LIGs become established...to name a few areas of concentration. We hope you like what you'll see and provide us with input to improve our offerings. This is your SIG and we want to ensure your needs are met. So, drop me a line with feedback or your thoughts. I can be reached at president@pmihealthcare.org. Thanks!
