A monthly publication of the PMI® Healthcare SIG                                                     May 2007
Message from the President

I can't believe how fast this year is moving! We are coming upon the halfway mark for the year already. We are making plans for the member meeting at the PMI North American Congress in October and asking for nominations for several board positions. There is so much to learn when you become a board member, particularly as president. I have been very happy to hear from many of you over the last few months. I've received a lot of great input about the SIG. Your words of encouragement, praise, input, offers to volunteer and ideas for change have been welcomed.

For the board, we are looking for energetic, team players who want to make a difference in the healthcare project management industry. If you have a desire to make the SIG even better next year and feel you can contribute something to the board, please nominate yourself for a board position today!

Over the next few months, look for information about the member meeting. We are looking forward to a great meeting this year! It is a perfect time to meet the board, network with colleagues and find out where we are with our goals for the year. Our goal is always to give you the most for your membership dollar. Having you at the meeting to meet us face-to-face helps you understand what we are doing and why. It also gives us a better understanding of what your needs are.

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or input. We always listen!

Michele Mills, PMP
Healthcare SIG President
